Setting up shipment status alerts

Tracking & Shipments
3 min read Updated August 2026

You don't need to switch alerts on shipment by shipment. ZargoLogix emails the sender automatically at the main milestones, and emails the consignee too once the booking has been approved.

Which milestones trigger an email

  • Booking received and booking confirmed
  • Pickup scheduled and cargo collected
  • In transit, customs processing and customs cleared
  • Out for delivery and delivered
  • Exceptions — customs hold, delay, delivery attempt, return, cancellation, lost or damaged

Choosing what you receive

Sign in at app.zargologix.com and open Notifications.
For each channel, switch categories on or off: Shipment updates, Customs alerts, Billing reminders and Promotions (promotions are off by default).
Email is the alert channel in use today. The portal also lists SMS, push and WhatsApp preferences so they're ready when those channels are switched on.

Without an account

The public Track Shipment page doesn't send alerts — but the emails above go to the sender and consignee addresses on the booking regardless of whether you have a portal account.

Exception handling: for significant disruptions — customs holds, missed connections or delays — our operations team also contacts you directly rather than relying only on automated emails.
