Understanding your shipment status updates
Tracking & Shipments
3 min read Updated August 2026
Every ZargoLogix shipment moves through the same set of statuses, whatever the transport mode. These are the exact labels you'll see on the tracking page and in the Client Portal.
Normal progress
- Pending Approval — an online booking has been received and is being reviewed by our team. Not yet trackable.
- Approved — your booking is confirmed and your tracking number is issued.
- Awaiting Pickup — collection is arranged; cargo has not moved yet.
- Picked Up — cargo has been collected.
- In Transit — cargo is moving between origin and destination.
- Customs Processing — a customs declaration is being processed.
- Customs Cleared — customs has released the shipment.
- Out for Delivery — on its final leg to the delivery address.
- Delivered — cargo has been delivered.
Exceptions
- Customs Hold — customs needs additional review or documents. See What happens during a customs hold.
- Delayed — running behind schedule; we are working to get it moving.
- Delivery Attempted — a delivery attempt couldn't be completed; we'll arrange another attempt or contact you.
- Returned, Cancelled, Lost, Damaged — our team contacts you with next steps whenever one of these applies.
How often does tracking update?
Statuses change when our team or carrier partners record a movement, so frequency depends on how many handling points your route has. Long ocean legs update less often than air or road.
You get an email at the main milestones — see Setting up shipment status alerts.
